Welcome to the Charlottesville Daylily Club web site!

We are very glad that you have found our corner of the web. The Charlottesville Daylily Club (ChDC) serves the central and western portions of Virginia. Charlottesville is located in the foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. The area in and around Charlottesville has been ranked among the most beautiful areas and is home to many historical landmarks and events.

We have a many exciting things planned this year.  Please join us at one of the events listed on our events calendar!

The daylily you see is one of Cindy Dye's registered cultivars, All Creation Sings (Dye, 2005.)  Cindy Dye from North Carolina is coming to speak at our Club meeting on SATURDAY, February 20, 2010.  Come join us!!  (You don't have to be a member, but it would be a great time to see if you might want to join as well.)

Cindy's daylilies have one HM- 2006 (HOMEPLACE CHERRY FACE, Dye 2002) and 2009 Region 15 Hybridizer's award (tie) (ALL CREATION SINGS, Dye 2005.)

Cindy will be briing three 2010 Introductions to donate to the club for auction.  She is planning to bring ROSY WITH ATTITUDE (DYE, K. 2010), GREEN EDGE AND HAM (Dye, C. 2010), and DOVE DIVINE (Dye, C. 2010.)
