We are very glad that you have found our corner of the web. The Charlottesville Daylily Club (ChDC) serves the central and western portions of Virginia. Charlottesville is located in the foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. The area in and around Charlottesville has been ranked among the most beautiful areas and is home to many historical landmarks and events.

Please check out all of the exciting activities the Charlottesville Daylily Club has planned for 2013.  We have two days of garden tours scheduled this summer, and Tom Polston of PLEASANT VALLEY DAYLILY GARDENS is coming to Charlottesville in October to speak to our club, and we are looking forward to seeing his hybridizing program.  Not to be missed!  Many other events are scheduled as well, and our calendar also contains information on events for our neighboring daylily clubs as well.  ALL ARE INVITED TO JOIN IN ANY OF OUR MEETINGS AND EVENTS.  We'd love to have you.

The Cultivar you see on our Welcome page is Luddy Lambertson's 2013 introduction, GRAY CROWNED CRANE*.  A beautiful introduction!   The 2013 club's Plants for Members program is incorporating cultivars from Art Gallery Gardens, Bell's Daylilies, Heavenly Gardens, and Watermill Gardens.
