(Pat Stamile - 2007) Photos of Pat Stamile's cultivars can be viewed at Floyd Cove Nursery.

*ALASKAN MIST (Stamile,P.) TET 36” ERe. emo. no fr. Ev. 6” Light pink base.  Beautiful edges are very prominent in this large, very overlapped, and extremely ornate daylily.  The ultimate in “fancy” with color, ALASKAN MIST is not just a pretty face.  High bud count and branching along with rebloom add to an extremely long blooming cultivar.  Plant proportion and habits are exemplary.  Fertile both ways.

6-way branching (4 laterals + terminal “Y”).  40-45 buds.

Aunt Ethel is a sibling to Princess Diana. This flower is a beautiful lavender pink with large yellow ruffled edge. The brilliant chartreuse-to-green throat makes the overall color glow in the garden.
Fertile both ways.

TET (Jane Trimmer x Hank Williams), semi evergreen. 6” flower, 3-way branching. 25 buds on a 35” scape.  CRAZY IVAN is a near-white flower with huge black mahogany eye and edge. This has proven to be an amazing parent, passing along incredible eyes and edges of all colors to its progeny. Fertile both ways.

(Pat Stamile - 2007) Photos of Pat Stamile's cultivars can be viewed at Floyd Cove Nursery.

*GRAND MASQUE (Stamile,P.)TET 393-A (Rock Solid x Dream Candy)  23” EMRe. fr. emo. SEv. 5 ½” x 3” x 2”. 4-way branching (2 laterals + terminal “Y”). 20 buds.
This is one neat flower. What is unique about the coloring is that most eyes and edges     are precise. This one wants to blend between the cream base color and the violet black eye and edge. The eye blends softly into both edge and simultaneously into the cream base while the edge does likewise in blending softly into the cream base even to the point of showing discreet dollops of anthrocyanin as if lightly spray painted on the cream canvas.
The form of the flower is superb with wide chubby blunt sepals and short fat petals that give the flower that “elusive” pansy face. Add an olive green throat to the clear petal colors and you have a truly beautiful flower. Fertile both ways and a remarkable breeder for eyes.

(Pat Stamile - 2006) Photos of Pat Stamile's cultivars can be viewed at Floyd Cove Nursery.

*INIMITABLE (Stamile,P.) TET 2164-F {(Sangre De Cristo x Fuchsia Kiss) x [((Magic Amethyst x Lake Effect) X Big Blue) X Be Thine]} 32” MRe. Ev. vfr. emo. 7 ½” x 4 1/8” x 2 ¼”. 4 way branching. (2 laterals + terminal ”Y”)  28 buds.

Inimitable means “incapable of copy”. In my experience I have never been able to get a near white of this size. First blooms on this monster are 8” with almost 5” petals and 3” sepals! It is simply the largest full formed near white that I know of. There may be others out there but I have not seen them.

The flowers are heavy and large and have a pastel pink blush and a deep grass green throat. Although it has none of the “angel wings” of its full sib JUDY FARQUHAR, INIMITABLE is beautifully ruffled with precise fluted ruffles.

A very consistent flower INIMITABLE has very few “Bad hair days”. Flowers are uniformly good. Excellent plant habits and plant balance.

A great parent for immense flowers and easily fertile both ways.

(Pat Stamile - 2007) Photos of Pat Stamile's cultivars can be viewed at Floyd Cove Nursery.

*LAST SNOWFLAKE (Stamile,P.) TET 218 [{(6186 x Key Lime Ice) x [First Knight x (Great White x Key Lime Ice)]} X Winter Springs] 32” La-VLaRe. Emo. Ev.  7” x 3 3/8” x 2 ¼”. 7-way branching (5 laterals + terminal “Y”). 60-65 buds.
This is a daylily of superlatives. It is our best late-blooming daylily to date. It is the last flower to scape in the garden. It is never even in scape when the visitors come to the garden in May. All that is visible is the nice dark forest green arching foliage. Around the middle of June, well over a month past peak here in Florida, LAST SNOWFLAKE will begin to bloom. Each bloom with its flat open form and pointed petals and sepals gives the illusion of a giant six-sided green snowflake.
This is also the daylily with the highest bud count I have ever done with scapes having as many as 65 buds. Amazing for such a flower since it is usually the minis that have the high bud count. While SPECIAL OVATION may have one more lateral than LAST SNOWFLAKE it can’t come close to the total bud count. Most importantly, bloom is progressive so there is no crowding of blooms and bloom lasts a long time. Immediate rebloom also with incredible branching and bud count insures that LAST SNOWFLAKE will last the entire bloom season. Recommended for the late July and August doldrums in the North. A wonderful and unique contribution to the world of daylilies. Pollen is good but I have never tries to set on it as I am finished crossing when this cultivar blooms.

TET (Mister Lucky x Crazy Ivan), semi evergreen. 6" flower, 4-way branching. 30 buds on a 33" scape.
MADAME PELE is a brilliant orangey-coral flower with a very striking crimson eye and heavily ruffled crimson edge. This has been a real eye catcher in the garden. MADAME PELE is one of the first progeny of Crazy Ivan we have introduced. It is one of the largest red-eyed and red-edged daylilies we’ve seen.

TET (Front Porch Swing x Spanish Wedding Gown), semi evergreen. 6-1/2" — 7" flower, 4-way branching. 28 buds on a 30" scape.
MISS LULA MAE is a HUGE very flat flower. The center half of this large polychrome flower is a beautiful waxy green. The outer edge of the petals is a contrasting citron.
