Welcome to Oak Hill Daylilies located in central Illinois!  What started out as a hobby quickly became a passion. We now grow about 1300 named varieites that are hardy in our zone 5 garden.  We grow a wide variety of cultivars, so there is something for every taste and budget. Our garden is state inspected and licensed.

All plants are field grown with mulch and organic fertilizers. No greenhouse or BAP used.

Bloom begins the third week of June and continues through July with rebloom and late bloomers blooming into September. Peak bloom is the first and second weeks of July in a normal growing season. DIRECTIONS TO THE GARDEN: Take Route 29 to Athens, stay on 29 and go past Athens approx. 1 mile. Turn left at Johnson Road and then go .5 miles before turning  right onto Hamilton Street. Take the first gravel road to your left. It is marked Oak Drive and then follow this road back to the daylily garden that will be on the left.

From I-55 take the Williamsville exit. At the stop sign, turn towards Petersburg onto Route 123. Stay on Route 123 for 6 to 7 miles until you come to a stop sign. At the stop sign, turn right. Go past Athens for approx. 1 mile and turn left onto Johnson Road. Go .5 miles and turn onto Hamilton Street. At the first gravel road take a left. It is marked Oak Drive and you will follow this road back to the garden that will be on your left.

SHIPPING:  We are buyers as well as sellers, so we work very hard to send shipments that we would like to receive. All plants will be dug and shipped by my husband and/or me. Plants are guaranteed to be true to name and healthy. A satisfied customer is our goal each and every time we ship. If you are dissatisified for any reason, please let us know. We will be happy to give you an exchange or a full refund if plants are returned within 48 hours with the tags still attachhed. 

There is no minimum order required. All plants will be a minimum of double fans and be blooming size, unless a single fan is indicated.  Please call or e-mail to verify that plants are available before sending payment. We can be reached at 217 636-7310, 217 741-1597 or nich1973@att.net  

We only ship in the Continental USA. We use US Post Office Priority Mail unless you request we ship using another carrrier. We ship on Saturday, Monday, or Tuesday with delivery confirmation.

For Priority Mail, the shipping cost is $10.00 for the first plant (double or single fan)  and then $1.00 for each additional plant. 

Illinois residents please add 7.25% sales tax to your order. We ship, weather permitting, 4/20/ through 5/31 and 8/01 through 9/30. 

If you live locally, you may pick your order up to save shipping costs.

RUST: We have a rust free garden.  All incoming plants are isolated in pots or planted at another location for the first season to keep rust out of our garden.  Rust does not overwinter in our climate. We do not spray for rust.

BONUS: Your bonus willl be approximately 25% of your order. Bonus will be our choice and may be extra fans. However, suggestions for bonus plants you would like to receive are welcome.  

SUBSTITUTIONS: We will not substitute.
