Daylilies on Swearing Creek

Lawrence 2002. 4.75", 24", tet, MLa Re, sev, VFr. My first registration from my very first cross. Burgundy with darker watermark and soft edge above yellow to deep chartreuse throat, but this one has a mind of its own. Though the primary color can be depended upon to remain the same, bloom to bloom, the much darker eye can be depended upon to be either slightly lighter and smaller or, conversely, extensively darker and larger. It really puts on a show when it reaches clump size, usually in its second year. 5 branches, 10 buds. (CUSTARD CANDY X SMITH BROTHERS)
